Telecom Egypt and Huawei Cloud plan to launch Huawei’s first locally based public cloud platform in Egypt and Northern Africa, a step towards Egypt’s digital transformation strategy. 

This collaboration aims to position Egypt as a regional digital hub, fostering the development of cloud computing and digital services. 

The hosting of Huawei Cloud in Telecom Egypt’s data centres will offer seamless connectivity to over 60 countries, leveraging more than 14 submarine cable systems, with plans to increase to 18 by 2025. This infrastructure supports the extensive reach of enterprises and SMEs in Egypt, facilitating easy and efficient cloud access and integration.
