Ignite Power Expands Presence in Kenya through Acquisition of Mwezi’s Solar Solutions Portfolio

Ignite Power, a solar solution provider based in the UAE, has announced the acquisition of Mwezi’s solar solutions portfolio in Kenya. The acquisition would allow Ignite Power to expand its presence in the country by utilizing its proven suite of technologies and standard operating procedures to serve Mwezi’s current portfolio and increase its influence in the area. Mwezi has been a key player in Kenya’s solar energy industry for many years. In Kenya, it has installed over 50,000 solar household systems. Ignite Power’s acquisition of Mwezi’s portfolio would allow it to strengthen its position in Kenya’s solar energy industry by expanding its customer base across the country.
