Recently, GetFundedAfrica partnered with Linkstar to aid African start-ups to scale and grow. GetFundedAfrica is building Africa’s largest tech-enabled marketplace which connects African founders with global mentors, coaches, corporates, investors, and government; while Linkstar provides a vetted network of professional freelance marketers and influencers experienced with some of the best brands, start-ups, and agencies that can be accessed on demand and on a budget. Its matching algorithm selects the best talent for a business using ten data points.
This collaboration between the two organizations will explore common business synergies as well as mutual benefits for both of them.
Under the agreement, GetFundedAfrica will integrate Linkstar on its platform, promoting the company as a partner of choice for technology, marketing, and design solutions to the start-ups in its network. In return, Linkstar will provide these start-ups with access to early features and discounts for its services and other perks as needed by the founders.
Aizaz Nayyer, Linkstar CEO, had this to say about the collaboration. “The African start-up scene is booming and GetFundedAfrica is right at the center of it. This partnership will allow us to create value in a new market and access millions of dollars’ worth of projects for our talented Linkstars. We have also just partnered with Stripe; so at the same time, we will also be looking to onboard international talent onto our platform by offering them their own custom landing pages as well as access to opportunities.’
This latest partnership is one of many that GetFundedAfrica engages in to support its commitment to enabling African economies and founders to grow and expand the African start-up ecosystem.
Debo Omololu, CEO & co-founder of GetFundedAfrica, commented on the partnership as well: “Aside from helping startups find investment, we also help them in venture building and integrating Linkstar to the GetFundedAfrica platform unlocks great value to African startups.”
