Egyptian Legaltech Startup, Hekouky, Secures Undisclosed Pre-seed Funding From Nama Ventures

Cairo-based legaltech platform, Hekouky, has just secured an undisclosed amount in a pre-seed funding round from Nama Ventures.

“Entrepreneurship is a test of wills and we are on a mission to make it easier by taking the burden of legal transactions off the shoulders of entrepreneurs in Egypt and in the Minna region.” Hala Riad, Hekouky co-founder, Hekouky stated.

“The legal space has tremendous inefficacies that technology can help bridge. In Hala, Mayy, and Fatima, we saw a team that has a very good idea of what it takes to build a great regtech startup because we firmly believe that the regtech space is ready and ripe for disruption.” Managing Partner at Nama Ventures, Mohammed Alzubi, said.
