Profile: Mostafa Khaled Abdel Akher
Personal Bio
I graduated from the German University in Cairo in 2013, where I received a BA degree in Management Technology with double core majors in Economics and Innovation. After completing my military service in 2014, I started working as a junior project manager for an Egyptian NGO called Resalet Nour Ala Nour while simultaneously working as a project manager for the Egyptian Social Fund for Development for a period of one year.
After spending 4 years at RNAN and reaching the position of head of development projects in a span of 2 years, I decided to join ALEXBANK as a CSR and Sustainable Development officer before switching to HiSky Aerospace, a leading Egyptian company in the field of defensive equipment and C-IED tools, as a key account manager for a year and a half. Joining Makwa in March this year was one my easiest career decisions, as I instantly recognized the potential it could yield to the Egyptian market, and potentially even beyond that.

Being fortunate enough to travel to 13 countries worldwide and almost all over Egypt, I have never missed a chance to learn something new; always keeping myself open to new people and different cultures that respect diversity and encourage unity. I have, since then, developed a passion for underwater diving, outdoor adrenaline filled activities and almost all kinds of sports.

“Business is always a struggle. There are always obstacles and competitors. There is never an open road, except the wide road that leads to failure. Every great success has always been achieved by fight, every winner has scars. The men who succeed are the efficient few –they are the few who have the ambition and will-power to develop themselves. So choose to be among the few today.”
