Moroccan startup, Lacaisse.ma, lands Funding for operational expansion

GFA: The drive for success in any business is key to the partnerships and positioned projections. These partnerships and projections lead to the growth of any business entity.

Casablanca-based startup, Lacaisse.ma has recently bagged undisclosed funding from Witamax a company founded by Southbridge A&I and the Axxam Family Office.

To date, the startup has 1,000 users scattered throughout Morocco’s main cities and has a clear strategy “…to both rapidly expand throughout the country, and to export to more remote places, where demand is no less significant,” according to the founder Said Belkhayat.

Additionally, the founders intend to provide managers, particularly restaurant owners, with an almost exclusive digital partner, as well as provide them with a 360 checkout that is “hassle-free.” They also intend to centralize and consolidate all the tools the business managers need to manage their customers as well as their activities on a daily basis (inventory and supply management, payment, reservation services or loyalty solutions, etc.).

Already the startup has roughly fifteen employees and is continuing to develop additional services to attract new clients, in addition to its regional development plan.
