Gbite Oduneye, managing partner at ODBA (an early-stage venture capital firm), visited GetFundedAfrica’s head office in Ogun Tech Hub, Abeokuta.
It was an amazing way to start the new month.
Gbite Oduneye is a visionary investor and business leader who has made a significant impact on the world of finance and entrepreneurship. He has a track record of identifying and backing successful startups and has been instrumental in helping many reach heights of growth and success. ODBA has made investments in African startups such as Awabah, GetFundedAfrica, and Bitmama all of which are pre-seed rounds.
Interestingly, ODBA was the first institutional investor to back GetFundedAfrica at the pre-seed stage. And this unscheduled visit was a way to keep up with the progress of GetFundedAfrca, having a firsthand grasp of the outcome of its investment.
He was very pleased with the reception he received and also with the team’s drive, passion, and commitment. A post on ODBA LinkedIn’s page confirmed this: “It’s truly inspiring to see the impact they are making in the tech industry and innovative solutions they are bringing to the table. He also took part in the staff operations meeting which brought him up to speed on the company’s milestones and plans.
